Calligraphy & Painting Museum

     The Museum of Calligraphy and Painting has a collection of over 2,000 calligraphic works and paintings from several dynasties, and imperial edicts of the Ming and Qin Dynasties, as well as more than 12,000 stone tablet rubbings.

     The most valuable among the collection are the “Landscape Scroll” by Tangyin, the “Plank Road in the Mountains” by Qiuying, the “Wind and Cloud in a Rainy Day” by Mi Wanzhong and the “Landscape” by Dong Qichang of the Ming Dynasty, the central scroll by Zheng Banqiao and the couplet by Zuo Zongtang of the Qing Dynasty, and the imperial edicts of emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty.
